Arianna Huffington

I volunteer on the Middlesex County Community Foundation's Fund for Women and Girls committee. It is a great group of women whose mission is to support the women and girls of Middlesex County by raising money and funding worthwhile endeavors.

On Wednesday, November 3rd, we held our biggest fundraiser to date, and welcomed Arianna Huffington, the founder of the Huffington Post, as our guest speaker. The Huffington Post is the biggest blog in the world, and quite possibly the main source of news for the online generation.

When Arianna was done speaking, and the evening concluded, a select few of us got to watch as CNN cameras filmed her as she commented on the previous day's election on Larry King Live. (She's a regular on political news shows, because she's quite opinionated and entertaining with her Greek accent, yet well-versed!)

She was most gracious all evening, and even invited us committee members in-between takes for a photo.
