On Tuesday, I (Sarah) went on a visit to St. Francis hospital to visit little Abby (see previous post)...and realized that my cousin David would also be at St. Francis, the place of his new gig as Associate Director of Trauma Surgery (or something like that). David took me to the "underbelly" of the hospital, where I saw doctors-in-scrubs galore. He showed me his new office, and I met many of his colleagues who were all really nice and completely down-to-earth. It's nice knowing that doctors are real people just like us! But...they end up missing holidays because they're on call. We'll miss you at Thanksgiving, cuz!
