CA$HMAN!

On Tuesday morning, February 3rd, bright (actually dark) and early, Rohan, Mumphy, and myself headed to the Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce breakfast to hear the guest speaker, Brian Cashman, General Manger of our beloved New York Yankees! It was amazing to hear how this regular guy from a horse farm in the midwest ended up in the biggest city in the world heading up the greatest sports franchise in the world. Despite this, he was charming, funny, and truly humble. Here I am with Mr. Cashman in the background. He later signed a photo for me that I will frame and put with my other Yankee memorabilia.

A close-up shot of one of his many championship rings. The picture does not do the thing justice! You could buy a small mansion with all the diamonds in that thing!

Mr. Cashman signs Mumphy's hat. Mumphy told him how much my father loved the Yankees, even in his final days, and as you can see from his face, Mr. Cashman actually listened, and was truly touched.

Mumphy shows off her freshly signed hat.
Enough with winter...Now we're really ready for baseball season!
