So by the end of February, after the snowiest winter in memory, we were all going stir crazy. Winter is just not our cup of tea. We certainly prefer getting outside in the warm weather.

By this point in Winter, there's just nothing left to do inside that we haven't already done. Even the cats were bothered, and spent their days sleeping away.

So when the first warm day came at the end of February, we opened all the doors, got outside...and the cats immediately started climbing trees! It was wonderful!

On February 27th, Grandma celebrated her 83rd birthday! We had a great dinner at Luce in Middletown, complete with Tiramisu and a candle!

Later that night, the best news of all came...we got Yankees Saturday season tickets in the new stadium! As you can see, Mumphy jumped for joy, and was incredibly pleased with her son-in-law who single-handledly secured these tickets by writing to the Chief Operational Officer of the Yanks and explaining that his family could only get to the games on Saturdays (and not Tuesday, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, which was our original game assignment in the relocation process).
We can't wait to get to a game....soon!

Speaking of birthdays, yes, our friends are starting to turn the big 3-0. (I'm close...Yikes!). We celebrated with Kori and the fam (Eamonn, Shibby, Shawn, Lisa, Matt, and Brian) at Tuscany Grill on her big night!

Besides all of this, you know it's Spring when the Friends of Long Hill Estate host an afternoon tea at the Wadsworth Mansion. On Sunday, March 22, my friend Shibby
(on the right in the above photo) set a beautiful table and invited Mumphy, Gram, and myself to join her and her family. We had a lovely time...but I forgot to wear a hat. So at the tea, I purchased this straw sun hat...and when I got back home (where I left him watching March Madness), my husband just had to take a picture!
More signs of Spring to come....
