On Saturday, we attended our final Yankees game of the 2008 season, as well as our final Yankees game in the original ("old") stadium. Too bad the game was a horrible loss. (The Yanks are literally playing like disgruntled employees who have already given their 2-weeks notice...because with no post-season this year...did I actually say that?...no post-season?...it looked as though they were just going through the motions.)
But, there's always NEXT YEAR! We are particularly excited because we hope to get some good season ticket seats in the Relocation Program for the new stadium. And we know that the Yanks will come back next year with a little more fervour to be the best that they are!
Thanks, old Yankee stadium, for all of the memories, we'll miss you!
