Our cousin David, who just moved back to Connecticut from Oregon, came over on Sunday afternoon to bring us our wedding gift. All Rohan has been wanting for months and months is a Playstation 3. (If you've been around us in the past 6 months or so, it's likely that he has asked you, yes, YOU, to get him one.) Well, David was the only one who listened. When David presented the gift to Rohan, Rohan proceded to run circles around the yard, hugging the machine, in pure exhilaration. He has been with his new girlfriend ever since. In fact, as this blog entry is being typed, the house is filled with the sounds of gun violence and bloody murder from one of Rohan's "rated M for Mature" games.
What does this mean for Sarah? Besides accomplishing a lot around the house, uninterrupted, Sarah never again has to hear, "Dear, you don't love me because you don't get me a Playstation 3." Thanks David!
(Disclaimer: David did in fact ask Sarah for permission to get Rohan such a gift for their wedding. It was agreed upon only when Rohan guaranteed that for each hour spent with his new girlfriend, two hours would be spent with his new wife. As an incentive, a second controller was purchased for Sarah, and Sarah will choose a nerdy, wholesome game of her choice to play as a family. Do they make Trivial Pursuit?)
