On Saturday, April 18th, we opened a new baseball season by visiting our beloved New York Yankees in their new stadium on a glorious day. And it was breathtaking.

The main entrance.

Mumphy and I pose outside.

We found Suzanne just outside the Main Entrance at Gate 6.

Inside the Great Hall...massive and stunning.

Making our way through the Great Hall.

Reggie greeted us on our ride up the escalator to our seats.

With beers in hands, remarking at the newness of the facility and the experience. (There is so much more space, endless food options, and even the staff seemed as if they had been fed happy pills!)

Rohan, Mumphy, Suzanne, and I pose at the top. (Photo
offered to be taken by stadium staff, unsolicited. Is this still NY?)

The view from our seats. Just incredible!

Although the stadium is so new and so different, there is no doubt that you are still at the home of the Yanks.

A view of the jumbo screen, the clearest and jumbo-est screen ever imaginable.
(To finish the story, the game versus the Indians was over in the second inning. I won't go into the horrid details...But it allowed us to further explore the new stadium, and we look forward to future visits and wins! Go Yankees!)
