Rachel and Mike - May 2, 2009

On Saturday May 2nd, day 4 of our Washington D.C. adventure, my childhood friend Mike and his long-time sweetheart Rachel tied the knot! Rachel is from Arlington, Virginia, (hence the reason for the D.C. destination), and they were married in her hometown church. The ceremony was unique (their dog Albus walked down the aisle, their vows promised of each other "social consciousness", and the whole church sang "Sweet Caroline" for their recessional!). The bride was beautiful. And Mike was the happiest guy in the world. After the ceremony, we headed to the Top of the Town for a fun reception.

Our table rocked with the Middletown crew! In the front row: Megan, Jason, Annmarie, Kori. In the back row: Chris, Jason, Rohan, Me, Rachel, Mike, Lauren, and Eamonn.

Rohan and I pose on the balcony with the city skylight in the background.

And, of course, we danced! Here we are, along with Mumphy, goin' crazy!

Mazel Tov Mike and Rachel!
