On May 31st, we honored our veterans with a good old-fashioned parade down Main Street on a gorgeous May day.
Before leaving for the Parade, Civil-War-era Mrs. Shapiro poses with Elizabeth and Emily in their adorable dresses.
I went to the Parade with Beth, Jenny and the kids.
Finally, towards the end of the line, Mumphy makes her way down the street with the Middlesex County Historical Society!
A very historic-looking bunch of marchers!
Then came the firetrucks, and Nathan had to cover his ears!
And in the end, the best of all: Maya had her first taste of ice cream ever! (She loved it, and practically ate the whole thing!)
