On Saturday, May 29th, we took in an afternoon Yanks Game. After the game, we usually get a bite to eat somewhere in Brooklyn; but on this day, we decided to make our annual trip to City Island in the Bronx. Suzanne LOVES lobster, and so we travel to City Island once a year in honor of her birthday (a little early this year) to take in the nautical sites and cuisines only offered in this little getaway just over a bridge.

Ro and I. (City Island is actually a Manning family secret. Because Ro grew up in the Bronx, every time his family went out to dinner to celebrate some happy occassion, it would be to a restaurant on this Island. He then shared it with us, and the rest is history!)
Mumphy and I about to eat way too much outside at Sammy's Shrimp Box! (There is also Sammy's Lobster Box and Sammy's Fish Box, all with slightly different ambiances. No matter where you go, however, the amount of food you get at a Sammy's is utterly rediculous!)
Because it was her birthday, and because Sam is named Sam, our waiter gave them a free Sammy's hat!
Sam makes a muscle in his Sammy's hat, as Ro looks on in utter bewilderment! Until next year City Island!
