All in one weekend...

What a beautiful fall weekend it was! The leaves started to change, but it wasn't too cold...and we were as busy as ever!

On Saturday and Sunday, Wesleyan students were filming a movie on our street. We had to be silent at times ("All quiet on the set!"); it was fascinating to watch the work that goes into just a few seconds of film; and we were even asked to move one of our cars by the director so as not to ruin a shot of our house with a white Audi in the driveway. Big boy especially loved watching all of the actors and directors from our front walk:

On Sunday we worked at the Middlesex County Historical Society Car Show. It was so gorgeous that Sarah was able to wear a tank top and get a tan! Rohan loved seeing the cars, particularly his dream car, a Ford Mustang Shelby (someday, Rohan!):

On Sunday afternoon, our cousin Leslie (originally from L.A., but now from NYC) came for a visit. She just finished law school and was on the hunt for a job. On Monday morning she had a job interview with an entertainment law firm in Stamford, but at their Meriden office (just one town over). When she came home, she was happy to report that SHE GOT THE JOB!!!!:

Congratulations, Leslie! Now let the commuting from Brooklyn to Stamford (by train) begin!
