Halloween, 2008!

Can you believe it, Halloween came and went already! The morning started off with a visit from the cutest little lion, Tali, with her mom Amy (Sarah's bff from high school). Tali's grandma, Mrs. Baldyga, handmade her costume, and you could really tell! It was just incredible!

After work, the little pumpkins started coming out! Here is our littlest neighbor, Tavio!

And here are Emily and Elizabeth, the most beautiful princesses in the world! (Really, no different than they are any other day!)

Elmo (aka our adorable cousin Nathan) stopped by with his Mom Jenny, dressed as a UPS driver, and Mom Beth, dressed as a teacher!

Then the big kids started coming out. You could really tell that the election has been a huge influence on folks. Here is our neighbor Tristan as "Joe the Plumber," along with his friend, who identified himself as Sarah Palin: "If she can claim to be a serious Vice Presidential candidate, than I can claim to seriously resemble her." Amen!

Since Halloween fell on a Friday, we even got to go out! Our friends Shibby and Shawn have an awesome Halloween party just about every year at their home in Meriden. Here are Kori and Eamonn dressed as a charming Southern couple!

We even got Rohan to dress up...I wonder if he could actually drink his Octoberfest through that mask?

Halloween is Suzanne's absolutely 100% favorite holiday. She really starts planning for it about half way through Summer. She wasn't with us, but had a swinging party at her apartment in Brooklyn. This year, she dressed as Ms. BQE!

And finally, yes, even Sarah got in on the fun. I love it when current events throw a costume in your lap. So when the deranged McCain campaign worker Ashley Todd made the news earlier in the week, I just had to go with it! I almost look just like her...almost!

Happy Halloween!
