On Friday afternoon, Rohan arranged for a VIP family and friends tour of his workplace, a famous sports TV studio in Bristol, CT (which shall remain nameless for contractual reasons, but you can likely figure it out on your own). It was fascinating to go behind the scenes and see the masses of technology and thousands of people that work toward making a quality TV program. Russ (shown above), our tour guide, was just fantastic! He was really able to show us the inner-workings of the TV world because he's really employed by the network as a camera guy, not a tour guide. And Russ was just a gem for putting up with our non-stop questions!

Here's Russ, speaking to the tour-goers, including Uncle Jimmy, Ronnie, Aunt Carol, Uncle Stephen, and Ronnie's friend Dereick.

More tour-goers, including Eamonn in the argyle sweater, and Maureen, Elizabeth and Emily.

This case holds just a fraction of the Emmy's the network has received.

Inside the studio of a show about the NFL (which shall remain nameless)...

We even got to stay just seconds before the on-air Talent, Marcellus Wiley and Mark Schlereth (former football players) went on the air! (They were so nice, and so BIG!).

Then it was on to the famous daily sports news show (which shall remain nameless), where Sarah tried her hand in front of the camera!

She may have a new calling as a sportscaster! (Does this mean I'm qualified to be a vice-president too???)

Mom had a turn at it...

As did Uncle Stephen...

And Uncle Jimmy! What naturals!

Eamonn posed in front of the big replay screen in-studio.

Even Elizabeth and Emily wanted to be on TV!

And just as we thought this amazing tour was done, the best part was about to happen! As we walked through the parking lot, who was getting out of his car but Coach Lou Holtz! Mom was brave enough to go up to him and spark up a conversation about their home state of Ohio...and that led to this great photo-op! Maureen, a Notre Dame grad, also got a photo with Lou, which has already been blown-up, printed, framed, and proudly displayed in her home.
Thanks to Rohan for setting up such a great tour!
